OK, time for a few words about me. I read this forum anonymously for years.

Name: Lidia
Age: 29 ( 1986)
Country: Kraków, Poland
Hobbies: ornithology, tissue engineering, cooking, reading crime novels, cycling and of course music!
Favourite Bands: My Dying Bride... Cult of Luna, Neurosis, Mastodon, Shape of Despair, Ulver, Queens of the Stone Age, Tool, Sólstafir, Paradise Lost
Favourite Music: Doom, sludge, post-metal, stoner
Favourite My dying bride Album: The Light at the End of the World
Favourite My dying bride Song: A Doomed Lover, A Kiss to Remember, Base Level Erotica -I know it's funny .. but the text of the song and the guitar always works for me very primitive. I just want to grab my husband and drag him into a dark alley
Best My dying bride Concert : 2007 Metalmania Katowice, all concerts were delayed and they played probably about 2 am .... I remember that I cried like a baby

Kisses

Frank: Why are you wearing that stupid man suit?

Welcome Lidia. :beerchug: It would have been nice to si hi to you last Saturday, but I did not think of arranging something in time. It is always nice to meet people from the board. Might of course be we have seen each other nonetheless.

Lycaon, you were at Dokk'em too?
I really enjoyed this festival. What a shame it took us more than 3 hours to get there.

It always took me more than 10 hours to go see MDB. Once it took me 16 hours by train/bus...

Worth it!

Yeah Aylin, it was worth it. Even before the show began, when we saw Aaron. My boyfriend was like "oh my god, the Lord himself is walking around here. He was actually paralyzed" since we have got our baby daughter we can't go out. It was the first time we went out, so special

Yes, I was most definitely there!

Dokkum is not a big town at all, so it has no high priority it public transport connections halas. But atleast you got to see many of the flat Dutch landscapes that many find so intruiging!

Hi there!

I'm Fred, 35 years old, from France

about my hobbies, I'm a musician (guitars, bass, vocals, drums little bit)

I sang in Inborn Suffering (doom / death) from 2004 to 2006 with whom I recorded the first demo and "wordless hope" album in 2005.

I also did the vocals in Drowning (death metal) from 2004 to 2007
https://youtu.be/ttk48g_Aw4I
then, I played bass & backing vocals in Marthyr black metal) from 2008 to 2013
https://youtu.be/KvZtLkjk_Ys

So now, I'm back in the doom family with my band Lying Figures since july 2014

************

I saw My Dying Bride for the first time in 2005 at FuryFest (LeMans, France)
I discover My Dying Bride, in 96 with "Angel & dark river", in the same time than many metal bands.

Hard to say what is my favorite song or album, but I can say I prefere the old ones until "The light at the end of the world"

Voilà ;)
