So, as promised adding some info... Actually there isn't mush to say. I enjoy doom a lot, I like immensely MDB (that's why I'm here). Among other favourite bands are Forest Stream, Opeth, Void of Silence, Emperor, Empyrium, Tiamat, Arcturus to name a few.
As to hobbies...those would be reading, travelling, self-development... life-time learning strategy and stuff like that is always relevant to me because profession-wise i'm connected with languages.

Gather Me Up Forever :o

The pain never stops
The race ignore me
I sit here twisted, and it hurts me.
The Son is near
His way made for him
Among the hopes
Ten thousand suffering
Oh how my heart aches
The brilliant stories cascade about me
To be handsome again
Thou art all deformed, and I feel your pain
What I touch with my hand, I touch with my heart.
The affection of stillness
Kiss the hand that blesses me
And as the panting ceased
My blood runs now fierce
This when I was young, before I knew nothing.

Arnold, 24 years old, i live near paris, France.
I study english at the university and i'm a musician too, doing vocals in a band, and working on several other projetcs.

my favorite bands are numerous but here's some of my favorites, besides My Dying bride:Moonspell, Paradise Lost, Tristania, Septic Flesh, Dead Can dance, Shape of Despair, Therion, Tool, The Smashing Pumpkins, Dark Tranquility, Summoning, Graveworm, Sonata Arctica...

My favorite MDb's album is, i think, The Dreadful Hours, although in a way i love them all!

I've seen MDB in a live show only twice, but i expect to see them more often in the following years.

And that's it!

Je suis sur qu'on va bien s'amuser ici ^^. En tout les cas, tant que tu fait des interventions pertinentes, j'aurais aucunes raisons de parler plus français :smug:

Good evening ladies and gentlemen, I’m new around these parts so I thought I would pop in here first to say hello! I’m not however, new to My Dying Bride.. Who in recent years have become one of my very favourite bands. Part of which may well be down to my ladyfriend, who is also a member of these boards.. The lovely Frankenstein. :)

Favourite My Dying Bride record? The Dreadful Hours

Just some mistakes (a lot indeed but who cares ? :P ), I did understand though, so don't lose any confidence in your French. It's a difficult language to learn as well so...
Anyway, that's nice for you if you're moving near Clisson soon, especially because of the summer fest. I'm living quite far from there (8 hours by car approximately). But if you come over someday, we could catch each other for a beer or something ! :beerchug:

And welcome back of course! My brain has kept some vague memory of the name "technogoat", but I'm sure you'll be able to spark that one alive in no time.

Thank you! :) But isn't the whole significance of noobs in violating the rules of noobiness?! (e.g., not reading the FAQ, hitting the "I agree" button without having the thinnest idea of what they've agreed to, provoking the regulars into going medieval on their... Whatever body part/ farm animal, etc.)
And about the math part; I shall leave it at threshold whenever logging in, unless you happen to have LaTeX BBcode interface installed here...

Noobs follow the rules, experienced undercover officers of doom already know them 8)

Well, I prefer mostly French and Swiss brands. Unfortunately, it's been a while since I tried a new brand, but if I have to choose I'd say Verte de Fougerolles from Paul Devoilles and, perhaps, Duplais Verte by Oliver Matter. What about you? :)

Haven't tried Fougerolles yet, but Duplais is fantastic. :beerchug: I tend to prefer French and German brands like Eichelberger and Belle Amie or Rubis by Emile Pernot.

This is starting to become an off topic :-) I would recommend Fougerolles. It's rather creamy :-) As for Rubis - is it as unstable in coloration as La Maitresse Rouge? I loved the taste of La Maitresse (fruity and fresh), but when I received my bottle it was more blond than red- haired, if you understand what I mean :-)

Lol :D
You don't have to worry about Rubis, it is dark-red enough. And the taste is rather unique, very refreshing. If you like rouges it's a must try.

Yes, I was most definitely there!

Dokkum is not a big town at all, so it has no high priority it public transport connections halas. But atleast you got to see many of the flat Dutch landscapes that many find so intruiging!

Greetings from across the pond!

I'm a 50-something woman living in a little village in New England. I've loved anything dark and gloomy almost since I can remember, but I only just discovered My Dying Bride back in October! Apparently, I haven't been paying attention. :?

I'm enjoying myself tremendously playing catch-up through MDB's back catalog.

I enjoy scary movies, music, books, motorcycles, and kayaking.

Edited to add: My favorite MDB album is Turn Loose the Swans (probably because it's the first one I ever heard, and you never forget your first).
