The best Doom album ever made is Skepticism's Lead and Aether
Electric Wizard's Dopethrone would have to take 2nd spot.
and Iron Monkey's self titled the 3rd.

Esoteric - Metamorphogenesis at number 4
and probably Monster magnet's Powertrip at number 5

then it gets really tricky, there are dozens of candidates.

Edit - Gonna Have to slip Revelation down one to number 7 because at number 6 we have Black Sabbath Volume 4

Well well,i disagree with you,i don't think Anathema ever been sounded like My Dying Bride?or My Dying bride ever sounded like mourning or Katatonia,totally different sound and doom,and let's say they are playing the same mood,i still find the mentioned albums are the best,i do love Shape Of Despair,Draconian,Officium Triste,Candlemass,Solitude Aternus thanks for the comment mate!
