Watched "Fury" yesterday, great film! An excellent representation of what war actually looks like.

BTW, I have only watched half of Interstellar so far, I'm waiting for a better file :)

Can't wait for The Imitation Game. It's not available until January. :(

Watched "Lucy" yesterday, a film based on the scientific myth that we only use 10% of our brain. Very imaginative and allegorical, I liked it a lot.

Now I'm watching Interstellar

Watched 3 good Sci-Fi films in the last three days:

Interstellar - I'm going to read more about the Physics theory behind the script.

Guardians of the Galaxy - normally not my type of film, but very I actually enjoyed it a lot; very funny and imaginative.

Edge of Tomorrow - A concept I've seen before (pun intended) and left me a bit tired due to my involvement; a very good film nonetheless.

Now back to reading and writing.

Watched the last X-men film yesterday. I never liked Marvel's heros and, although the storyline was interesting, overall it was total BS, mainly in what scientific stuff was concerned.

Can someone recommend some good films, please?

Thanks, will check those out :)

I watched Dracula Untold yesterday and, although some parts were good, the BS level was high altogether.

Gone Girl seems very appealing. Will check it out, too.

Anyone seen Birdman? Someone whose opinion I respect on such matters says it's good...

I've watched Gone Girl and Non-Stop so far.

Gone Girl is excellent, love it.

I'm looking forward to hear more recommendations. :)

I couldn't force myself to watch Birdman as I hated the trailer and the plot didn't seem quite appealing to me. Also, I nourish some frustration about the fact that it has won so many Oscars instead of The Imitation Game, which I absolutely adored. That is exactly my kind of film.

Also loved the Theory of Everything. That was a well deserved Oscar for the role of Stephen Hawking. That moment he tries to climb the stairs. It was so heartbreaking... clearly in there for Oscar purposes... but beautifully portrayed nonetheless.
