I'm a fan of chinese landscape painting because there's so much peace and beauty in good pictures of that style. Also because it is very difficult. One wrong brush stroke and the artist can throw the whole thing away..

Apart from that I also like Dalí, the old masters and a couple of other painters. But I never liked Picasso and Warhol.

Oh, and I hate Manga!

Yes, great talent but why do these fantasy guys always paint women bodies so perfect? It's so lame.. I mean, a woman doesn't need to look like a top model in order to be beautiful. Well, at least I think these pictures could be more interesting, if these artists didn't always use this standard beauty.. :?

My favourite painter is Monnet as well. There is a good explanation of his art in this movie, Vanilla Sky...

It was Hexenhaus, a Swedish band that released that lp just before 'Blessed are the sick'. Bad timing eh?
Brilliant lp though. I wish i could find it again.
