I recently saw "Children of Men". A great movie, but quite disturbing. It paints a very grim picture of what happens to human society if something catastrophic happens (in this case, women worldwide become barren. The story is set 18 years after the last human baby was born). I recommend it, but not for the faint of heart.

Yeah, I watched Grind House a couple of months ago, one of the funniest movies ever! Probably the best so far in 2007! Probably I'm very few objective, because I adore Tarantino's movies. Check the sequel of Grind House, by Roberto Rodriguez!

Me, too. But there's already some things I dislike about it. They changed the design of the robot itself... the shape of the eyes, for example. To make it look more grim or something. But if it was built by machines, why the hell would they do this?

For the record, my favourite film is Apocalypse now...

Favourite actor, Jack Nicholson (I own literally every film he has ever made, on dvd too haha, took me about tens years...)

Also, i rather enjoyed the new terminator film greatly :-)

the story in the movie is interesting and because of that the end is quite good and suprising (to me at least)..
in general there's no cliffhanger :wink:

If you enjoyed Oldboy you should check out Sympathy for Mr Vengeance and Lady Vengeance also. They are both directed by Park Chan-Wook too, and form a loose vengeance trilogy. There is no connecting thread between the films other than the idea of revenge, and I recommend them both highly.

Watched jOBS yesterday and it is a bitter disappointment. Although I was well prepared by the harsh reviews of the film, it left me wonder how this was so poorly made. Almost no plot, flat characters and this boredom took more than two hours. To be honest any documentary I've seen on Apple/Jobs/Gates was better than this movie.
