There is no such thing, no one is happy 100% of the time.. unless they are complete idiots :P Yeah, that's true.. life has it's ups and downs!

If you feel happy about 10% of the time is fine if you don't feel depressed but fine about 90% of the time.

Fine is around 40-50% of the time

The rest of that time is spent listening to music

I suggest publicly burning you, starting from the facial hair?

I find IM software to be very good for keeping me in touch with my family. Skype is connecting me with my parents and my sweet gradma. The chat-addiction on the other hand, like every other, can really ruin you. But its nature is not that different from TV, gaming or Internet addictions.

I'll play the devil's advocate here again but in any case, you're right on one thing: this place is so desert that no one would really bothered or noticed that 5 or even 10 pages had just been absolutely flooded by 2 young lovers :) So actually, you should keep amusing us all with this discussion, this is quite entertaining.
Moreover, the "general chat" board is a rare collection of trashes and / or kill-some-times threads, so harm done to anyone here indeed :)

For every forum and topic goes when scrolling over the title it tells you whether there are unread posts. Also there is a button on the right to immediately jump to the latest post.

Are there options that are significant additions that I am overlooking?

Please note that to keep the forum compatible with future updates we can only change appearences and we are not able to add buttons, links etc.

This place is an unsaveable tomb, so it's easy to keep up with :) But the studio report has kept it interesting

We should make a list of people who don't post anymore and then find them elsewhere and call them back lol! Would it liven the place back up?

I call Sere Flower to return!

How interesting, I didn´t know about that painting.
The inspiration for my nickname came from COF's "The Black Goddess Rises".

Work harder than you think you should, it WILL reward you! I'm in my second year of a Policing degree, it's damn difficult  But only if you leave work till the deadline... which I've learned not to do... I hope!

Q. So why do you believe the situation is getting worse?

A. Because you're taking too long diagnosing me, keep getting passed from specialist to specialist, each seems to have a 2-6 week wait in between appointments, grrrr.

You're right. The US political system is dysfunctional, but I don't think not voting or being passive is the right approach.
What are your thoughts on British Politics? I don't follow it lately, but whenever I watch a session of the House of Commons it is like a comedy show.

I know the feeling. But I somehow try to cope with it. Skip as much of classes you legally can! Give yourself a 15 minute smoke break if the professor allows. Pull all-nighters whenever possible. Take the back raws, and text a friend, or read a book during boring classes. Break the textbook into two halves for the finals, and have a friend study one half, so you could cheat. Cheat in general, if you think you can't pass. Most of them don't really care if you do. Turn up in the class drunk, or high, and see if anyone can spot you! Study during boring, or less than useful classes, instead of wasting your home time on it!

Only about two or three of those are possible

Which ipod is it? Mines a classic and lasts about 3 hours fully charged, but I've had it 3 years so Im not sure if the batteries changed much.

There's a new nano coming out soon, I hope they do a 500gb or 1TB ipod someday.

Good point, but the problem with the news media is that it is uncontrollable by the state as long as the first amendment still stands. It is only controlled by its ratings and revenue. The idea of people turning of the ill presented news would of course help, but I don't see it happening. Gun control is on the other hand much easier to be passed and regulated by the state. In many cases it would not help, because getting a gun is not that hard even in countries with the strictest gun control laws.

I'm turning into an organic maniac lately. Everything except my booze comes from the bio-store. I'm still not sure if the food is really tastier or is it myself forcing to like it knowing how much it costs.

Went out for some beers last night and met my doctor in the pub. It gave me a nice feeling to drink after that, my doc was there just in case :)

I find it more dangerous, actually: Your drunk doctor might end up prescribing some random medicine, and you, in your drunkenness, will possibly end up taking it! Hell, he might even preform an operation on you in that state. Tomorrow you'd wake up and find that your left kidney, right arm, or even your most prized organ is missing.

Not my ears! :O

I need to cut down the alcohol before I end up at the doctors myself (always said but hardly ever done lol)

Mammon Iaho Dumah wrote:Ok. here's the entire cast:
Beerman: The murderous doctor.
Musukrov: His current victim.
Danhod: The detective who's trying to solve the crime.
The She-Wolf and Princess: The cool forensic scientists who help solving the crime by scientifically analysing the evidence (think of that hot goth girl from NCIS).
Mammon: That guy from Numb3rs who tries to solve the crime using maths.
Matt: The vigilante (plot twist: He's actually the second coming of Jesus Christ).
Melita: A former victim of the doctor, and her death was the reason beyond Matt, who loved her, turning into a vigilante.
Abed: The police chief who's tired of Dan's unorthodox methods, asking him to solve the crime by the book.
Alzamora and Shagrat: The doctor's henchmen. They run over puppies and laugh evilly.

The war is already two years old. If you ask me the UN/NATO/US are late to act on it. Let's see if this intervention actually helps resolving the situation.

I agree!

A lot of the music I buy I download (or at least hear a sample) first to see whether or not I should buy it, I'd rarely ever buy something without hearing if it's any good or not first. (I learned from that mistake!)

It is statistically proven that Firefox users get more sex... and cookies! Come over to the... fox side (damn, that didn't work). :(

Nah, chrome rapes all the others I've used. It's super fast usually and the favorites bar at the top of the screen allows me to be as lazy as possible :)

I'd hate to work shifts in a factory job, applied to land rover recently (ironically but the money is good) but failed the manual test so in one way I'm kinda glad haha.

Welcome indeed, new person! There also is a special thread to introduce yourself a bit, if you are interested. :beerchug:

Since this thread seems the place for a random anecdote: Yesterday I called my eighty year old grandmother to ask if I could stay at her place this Saturday, since MDB has a gig in her hometown that evening. She mentioned that she had already seen the festival terrain and that she was very curious what kind of event would take place. But, halas, if you are eighty you only have so much energy for one weekend. She said: "If it was not for your brother's birthday this Sunday, I would join you to the festival."

See you tomorrow!

Ps. How to get there (dokkum) easiest from eindhoven?

Haha, if possible I fear my brother would be even out of place than my grandmother would be.

Travelling from Eindhoven to Dokkum is a long trip for Dutch standards. From Eindhoven central you need to take the train to Leeuwarden (you will have to switch train once or twice) and then take the bus to Dokkum. This trip will take you about four hours.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me trough pm.

I so much second that idea !

In my humble opinion, Matt has been around here for so long and his huge and relevent contribution is speaking for him.

Also, he has been a dedicated member of the forum from the very beginning and his participation in almost all the topics here explains his high posting rate.

I would highly recommend him as a moderator when the time comes, as he is the best representation of impartiality and loyalty you could find around here.

I'm not a big fan of Nick Cave but I just heard the news musician's 15-Year-Old Son Dies After Falling From Cliff in England, Police Say.

Deepest sympathy to him and his family, there should be no parents burying their own child, this is probably the most terrible thing that you could endure in a life time.

No, the thread was locked, because it does not have a place in this forum, but moving or deleting it seemed odd to me. I would not describe this as a "touchy" thread. Can't see anyone arguing that £10-£20 for delivery is quite expensive.

I am actually rather interested in the matter, cuz we all know MDB are not getting any cent from delivery/service charges, but who is? And again, I think contacting Peaceville/Burning Shed should be the right approach.

Thread is unlocked and moved.

I much prefer to see complains about the music quality MDB is created than delivery charges that has nothing to do with the band.

Go speak your mind and develop great discussions about why you dislike this or that. It is a place of free expression after all and no one can prevent you from opening your mouth.

Just do it in a gentle and well-mannered way.

Regarding the locked, then unlocked + moved thread, it should be lock again coz everything has been said about it: write your complain directly to Peaceville.

CAN YOU LOCK THIS THREAD AGAIN PLEASE ? loool :D

Nice to see the forum background updated, though if the contrast was dimmed just a bit I think it'd work better.. Or with a greyscale image of the artwork.
