The new album is to be entitled ‘The Ghost Of Orion’.. it was recorded at Mynetaur Studio, Manchester.
The release date is pencilled in as February 7th 2020!
We are told to expect death metal growls, cellos, melancholy and guest vocals from Lindy-Fay Hella from Warduna on the track “But Once Black”.

More news as it comes, but my friends, the time to get excited is now!

Is this official now?
(In the other thread there's a mention of the possibility this is an unsanctioned leak).
Anyway that's a great title.

A friend texted me this from a magazine he was reading, in case the title and release date isn’t common knowledge. If it is, I’ll delete it.

UPDATE: I’ve been informed by a member of the band that there is no firm release date so far as the band knows. Maybe their record label gave Decibel magazine a planned date, so take this date as a “ballpark” date, maybe? That said, the album title wasn’t brought up, so a good sign this is the title.

February 7th 2020 according to the label..
...That's perfect - new My DyING BRIDE, with shipping and all it should arrive on me birthday :beerchug:

Feels so far off though lol. This is the longest "release drought" we've had since.. well, since the Towards the Sinister demo. Glad I'm not a Tool fan

Thanks for the link, listening to it now.
Very interesting, so sad to hear about all that went on and then so heartwarming to hear about how Aaron gradually got excited about the new material :D

It sounds like this is going to be an epic \m/

Oh..and it's not coming in February but in March. Minor bummer

I hope it does not sound too insolent, but I felt like "I know this" (though my occupation is not music). So thanks so much for the link!

Aaron is very open about his feelings in this interview, he's a great guy! It was absolutely understandable for me that he questioned himself if he should continue with the band in this situation.

Release date beginning of March if Aaron remembered correctly. The new promo video with Jo Quail will be aired in early 2020.
